A Day of Adventure and Spirituality: Exploring Shitakunda, Chittagong
Have you ever gone on a spontaneous adventure that turned out to be one of the most memorable days of your life? Well, I certainly have! Join me as I recount a day filled with excitement, spirituality and connection with my sister and four of her friends as we explored the charming town of Shitakunda in Chittagong.
Midnight Departure:
As we gathered at Komolapur railway station, our journey began under the cover of darkness. It was 1 o'clock in the night and the Chittagong Mail, an ordinary local train, was waiting for us. As we settled into our seats, the anticipation of the upcoming adventure lifted our spirits.
Arrival at Shitakunda:
Next morning, the train reached Shitakunda Railway Station. Our spirits were high, and our first stop was the bustling Shitakunda market. There, we had a hearty breakfast and filled our bellies with local flavors that would keep us full for the day.
A Spiritual Ascent:
Our next destination was Shitakunda Hill, a place of great spiritual importance for the followers of Sanatan Dharma. Armed with sticks and sticks, we set out on the climb. As we climbed higher, the world around us began to awaken and a breathtaking view of the landscape began to emerge.
At the summit of Shitakunda hill, we discovered Chandranath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Standing at a height of approximately 1152 feet, it offers picturesque views that take our breath away. Before descending we took some time to say our prayers and connect with God.
Satisfying Our Hunger:
Back at Shitakunda market, our hunger took us to a local restaurant where we tasted a delicious lunch. Energized and ready for more, we decided to visit a famous restaurant in Shitakunda, enjoying a delicious feast that left us truly satiated.
Beach Bliss:
Our adventure continued as we hired CNG and headed towards the picturesque Guliyakhali sea beach. The serene beauty of the beach provides the perfect backdrop for laughter, relaxation and memorable moments with friends and family. Time seemed to stand still as we soaked in the salty air and gentle waves.
homeward Bound:
As the evening sun began to set, we reluctantly left the beach behind. Returning to the Shitakunda Highway, we reserved our seats in the Ena bus for the journey to Abdullahpur. Despite our fatigue, the experiences of the day kept us excited during the ride.
At 2 am, we reached our final destination and said goodbye and headed towards our respective homes. That one day adventure trip to Shitakunda was an absolute blast, filled with a blend of spirituality, natural beauty and camaraderie.
In the end, it is unexpected trips and shared experiences that often leave the deepest mark on our hearts. Shitakunda, with its diverse offerings, gave us a day to remember – a day where we found joy in the unexpected and created memories that will last a lifetime.
